Sacramento Police Gang Unit Conducts Probation Search, Discovers Guns Cache, Drugs

A probation search conducted yesterday of a validated gang member resulted in his arrest and the seizure of a cache of guns and narcotics.

Sacramento Police Department's South Gang Enforcement Team (GET) conducted a probation search of a known gang member, 23-year-old Unzell Jaquan Williams, in the 4400 block of Mello Court. During their search, the Gang Team located numerous firearms throughout the residence and evidence that Williams was selling narcotics.

Williams was arrested and booked into jail for violating his probation, narcotics, and firearms charges. Arraignment is scheduled for April 13.
