Traffic Advisory - Sheldon, Waterman Roundabout Closed For Four Days

The City of Elk Grove Public Works Department will implement traffic controls at the intersection of Waterman and Sheldon Road April 10-14 to perform maintenance and clean-up work on the roundabout.
Increased Travel Times & Detours: Road work will affect all through traffic on Waterman and Sheldon Roads between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Flaggers will limit access into the roundabout and alternate entry from each of the four access points during these hours. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use either Bradshaw Road on the east, Elk Grove-Florin Road to the west, Calvine Road to the north, or Bond Road to the south to bypass the work area.
Access for emergency vehicles and property owners in the area will be maintained during the closure.

Construction Activities: Crews will be repairing minor cracks, performing ponding repair and low spot relief, and cleaning up areas in and around the roundabout.

Completion : Work is expected to be completed by 4:30 p.m. on April 14, 2017.

The thing is only a few months old and all these problems have come up already? Faulty construction by the contractor? What about that sinkhole on Franklin Blvd. that was built over wetlands? I'm starting to see a pattern here.
