Gunshots Fired, Victim Injured in Late Night Elk Grove Robbery

A robbery victim sustained a non-threatening gunshot wound following a late night shooting in Elk Grove.
According to Elk Grove Police reports, just before 11 p.m on Friday, January 26 three victims were inside a parked car on the 9000 block of Bruceville Road when three unknown suspects approached them. The suspects demanded personal property, and two of the victims complied.
The driver of the vehicle then locked the door and attempted to back up. One of the suspects fired a gun that stuck one of the robbery victims.
The victims fled to a nearby medical facility, called 911 and the gunshot victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspects were described as unknown race males, 5’7” to 5’8”, thin build, wearing dark colored clothing. One of the suspects was wearing a dark colored ski mask.
