April 12, 2018 |

A Sacramento man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after he was allegedly found in possession of a loaded gun.

Just before midnight, Elk Grove Police stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation near Elk Grove-Florin and Calvine roads. The driver of the vehicle, Victor Ricardo Limon, 26, was found to be a convicted felon.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm not registered to Limon who was then arrested. Limon faces felony charges of a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, carrying an unregistered weapon, and one misdemeanor weapons charge.

Bail is set at $70,000, and arraignment will be on Friday, April 13.
