Prowling probationer arrested by Galt Police

A Galt man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after being arrested on suspicion of prowling and violating probation.

According to Galt Police, officers were dispatched to the area near Rachael Drive and Summit Lakes after receiving calls of a prowler. Responding officers located Zachary C. Berry, 24, in the backyard of a residence.

A record check revealed Berry was on probation. Berry will be arraigned on Friday, August 24 and is not eligible for release.
