Galt man on arrested on suspicion of arson, drug possession

Galt Police arrested a man after receiving calls regarding a man running from an area where a fire had started.
The two calls came from the area of Emerald Vista Park and Emerald Vista Drive and Hill Drive after witnesses reported seeing a male suspect running from the area where the fire had been ignited. Responding officers locate John Dettman, 28, of Galt, who was arrested on arson and narcotics charges.
Dettman was booked into the Sacramento County Jail but has been released from custody.
