Video - Ly declares victory in 2018 Elk Grove mayoral race

In a speech to his supporters gathered at his campaign office, late last night Steve Ly declared victory in the Elk Grove mayoral race. Ly, the incumbent, was challenged by Elk Grove Vice Mayor and Tracie Stafford.

According to vote tallies compiled by the Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections, Ly currently has 9,235 votes for 46-percent of the total. Suen has 6,290 votes for 31-percent, and Stafford has 4,453 votes for 22-percent.

Countywide 185,623 votes have been tabulated and approximately 175,000 are unprocessed. The next update will be provided on the late afternoon of Friday, November 9.
