Ly declares victory in Elk Grove Mayoral Race

With a commanding lead, earlier tonight incumbent Steve Ly declared victory in the three-way race for mayor of Elk Grove.

With 18,473 votes tallied, Ly is leading the field with 8,671 votes or 47-percent. In earlier tallies, Ly had a 40-percent margin. The two other competitors, Darren Suen, and Tracie Stafford had 5,901 and 3.901 votes respectively. 

Ly spoke to supporters as the results showed him with a commanding lead.
