On
Wednesday, March 18, the Elk Grove city council had an opportunity to address
what is going to be a problem in the coming months – evictions. But slumlords may rule.
The EGNews reassures me that there are many watching and that feel the same way as I about last Wednesday's vote. The council showed that they care more about their own personal situation that they care about the well-being of their constituents. This really isn't a surprise for many, but finally when times got tough, they all showed their own true colors and made it clear to all where their true interests lie; in their OWN PERSONAL BEST INTERESTS.
EGNews used some strong words in his podcast, but it was accurate and on point.
And oh by the way, if the Council "slumlords" deny their new handle, it is only because of their own comments, on the record, inferring that every tenant who rents in Elk Grove is a deadbeat.
To paraphrase Danny Boyle, does this now make Pat Hume at "A Slumdog Millionaire" Landlord?
