In November 2020, Sacramento County voters will be asked to consider raising sales taxes by one-half percent. The sales tax increase, Measure A, is proposed by the Sacramento Transportation Authority – the STA – to fund a variety of countywide transit needs.

If approved, Measure A would generate over $8 billion during its 40-year life.
