City of Elk Grove, Police Department websites down

From at least 2:30 pm today, the City of Elk Grove and Elk Grove Police Department's computer system has been offline.

Below is the initial screen that appeared when visitors attempted to visit both the city and police departments' websites. 

Sometime after 4 p.m. today the image posted below appeared on both websites. 

According to Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen, the problem started early this afternoon. 

In an email response, Singh-Allen said "Our website is hosted by a company whose network connection is down. They have been working since around noon to get it back up but with no luck. I don’t have an ETA but hopefully soon."
