Video Voices of Elk Grove - Parents voice varying views on student masking mandates at EGUSD meeting

Although California has established protocols for school vaccines and masking, it has not been free of controversy. Those controversies were displayed at the Tuesday, August 10 Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting.

During public comment, the seven trustees heard various views on masking and other COVID19 protocols for Elk Grove Unified schools. While some urged the trustees to expand safety requirements, others characterized the mandates as politically motivated and infringed on liberties.
