In his first city council meeting after being arrested for drunk driving this evening, Elk Grove City Councilmember Sergio Robles admitted he was drunk driving on Saturday, May 20. 2023.
While Robles feigned anguish for his misadventure, he minimized the incident. During his commentary, Robles did not say he was arrested but twice said he was cited for a misdemeanor.
Additionally, Robles did not say he would moderate or adjust the behaviors that led to his arrest and booking into Sacramento County Jail and embarrassment for Elk Grove and its residents.
