Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen, Elk Grove City Council skewered in Sac Bee editorial

Even though Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen and her city council have been spinning Friday's $9.1 million Oak Rose settlement announcement, spin as they may, not everyone is buying.
Although the Old Town critics managed to bend the will of Singh-Allen and her city council to their needs and have praised the settlement, there has been an outcry. While Singh-Allen and her city council have been rightfully criticized for their blatant hypocrisy, claiming the city is welcoming to all while denying access to people needing supportive housing, they have also been chastised for wasting taxpayers.
Joining that chorus was an opinion piece published today in the Sacramento Bee. No punches were pulled in a piece penned by Bee opinion writer Robin Epley.
The opinion piece can be viewed at SacBee.com, and for those who do not subscribe, a PDF version can be viewed below.
Singh-Allen's actions are a reminder of a quote sometimes attributed to Abraham Lincoln:
“You can fool all of the people some of time; you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”

Oh I see, it's not just the handful of EGN "crazies" that see through this slick charade of a city! I hope Robin Epley has her desk in pretty good order, because soon her bosses phones will be ringing, and as other reporters in the local press have found before her, she may soon be handed a box and told to pack. Good luck Ms. Epley.
Ouch! We know BSA is super sensitive to articles like this, especially from the Bee! My bet is they will call the Elk Grove beat writer soon for a puppy and rainbows story. Any updates on the barbecue restaurant??
