With the track record of this council, poor decisions related to the Aquatics Center, the loss of the high-end shopping options such as Macy's and Nordstrom Rack, and especially the $9.1 million and counting loss we're taking over ignoring the law over the Oak Rose fiasco, this city had done nothing to indicate they can be trusted with a $400 million zoo project.
As Mr. Lee stated, this large an undertaking must be put before the citizens to determine if we want to accept financial responsibility for it's construction and 365 day a year, 24 hour a day maintenance. If the council screws this up, our taxes will become astronomical. Mine are all ready much to high. Yours?
