Elk Grove Woman Allegedly Assaults Mother, Arrested by EGPD

An Elk Grove woman is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after she allegedly assaulted her mother yesterday afternoon. 

Elk Grove Police were dispatched to the 5100 block of Laguna Woods Drive where they contacted 31-year old Sheewana Kotee Bradley. The suspect and her mother were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation.

During the altercation, Bradley allegedly pushed her mother to the ground and slammed her head into the ground several times. The suspect also punched the victim in the head and attempted to hit the victim with two different glass vases resulting in visible injuries. 

Bradley was arrested and booked into the county jail where she remains in custody on $50,000 bail. Arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
