Elk Grove Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Front of Residence

An Elk Grove man who was leaving a residence was robbed at gunpoint.

Just before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16 the victim was in his vehicle preparing to depart on the 8600 block of Callippe Way. An unknown person ran up to the vehicle, opened the passenger side door, pointed a gun and demanded the victim's property.

After the victim complied with the demands, the gunman's fled the area in a waiting getaway car that was a dark-colored sedan. The suspect, whose race could not be determined, was between 18 and 25 years of age, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
