Street Crimes Unit Serves 5 Search Warrants, Arrest 6 For Alleged Elk Grove Pot House Operations

In a morning time operation that served search warrants at five locations, the Street Crimes Unit of the Elk Grove Police Department arrested six people suspected of operating illegal residential marijuana growing operations.

On Wednesday, January 18, detectives served warrants on the 8900 block of Panamint Ct, 9900 block of Pianella Way, 9300 block of Boothwyn Way, and 4800 block of Ammolite Way. During the searches, over 2,000 plants and 2 pounds of processed marijuana were seized. 

Four of the arrested suspects, Lixin Huang, 62; Lihua Zhu, 48; Zhenhai Feng, 25; and Mai Zhiling, were cited and released. Two suspects, Guo Wang, 62 and Yongquin Zheng, 32, remain in custody at the Sacramento County Jail. All of the suspects are Elk Grove residents.  

Wang and Zheng are being held ineligible for release. Arraignment is scheduled for Friday, January 18.
