Online seller assaulted, injured by two suspects in late night Elk Grove robbery



An Elk Grove resident who was attempting to sell merchandise posted online was assaulted in a late night robbery.

The victim arranged to sell the goods near their residence on the 10400 block of Fossil Way in Elk Grove's East Franklin neighborhood just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. The victim met one of the suspects near the residence, and the supposed buyer and an accomplice decided against the purchase.

As the victim left, the two suspects assaulted him and stole the goods. The vicitm sustained visible injuries. 

The suspects fled in a late model dark-colored SUV with five other passengers, The assailants were described as African American males ages 18 -19 with one wearing a white t-shirt and others in dark-colored clothing. 

. There were five other people in the suspects' vehicle but no description was verified.
