Elk Grove News Podcast - Questions abound on Elk Grove's 2020 budget

As required by law, the City of Elk Grove must produce a balanced budget ready for implementation by July 1, 2019. After examining the budget report, Elk Grove resident Lynn Wheat discusses some information she found.

Wheat has made additional inquiries seeking an explanation of her findings to the city of Elk Grove. Depending on when she receives a response, an additional segment on the city’s 2020 budget may be produced.

On a side note, like every other city in the state, Elk Grove is required by law to produce a balanced budget. Keep that in mind when you hear a city council member brag that they have produced a balanced budget.
