Juvenile arrested by Elk Grove Police for alleged injury hit and run vehicle collision

An Elk Grove teenager was booked into juvenile hall after he allegedly injured another motorist in a late-night hit and run incident.

Just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, the 17-year old driver was involved in a collision near Sheldon Road and Sheldon Creek Drive. The collision resulted in non-life threatening injuries to the other motorist who was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. 

The teenage suspect and his vehicle were located in a nearby neighborhood. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall.
