During the 2019 Memorial Day weekend, the City of Elk Grove opened its long-awaited aquatic center at the newly named District56 complex. The opening of the facility was delayed by almost a year and was over budget.

In July of 2019 Elk Grove filed a lawsuit against many of the companies involved in the construction of the facility. One of these companies was Big B Construction. 

Guests are Brian Erickson is a co-owner of Big B Construction and his project manager, Carlos DeLeon. Ericson and DeLeon will detail what they assert were faulty designs by the City of Elk Grove. 

Ericson also discusses the reason he thinks the city is pursuing the litigation and what happened when he addressed the Elk Grove city council at the September 11 meeting.
