Suspected impaired driver hits pedestrian, arrested by EGPD



A Sacramento woman is in custody at the county jail after she allegedly hit a pedestrian while driving under the influence.

At approximately 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, a vehicle operated by Kimiko Marie Burr, 31, hit a pedestrian near Ancestor Drive and Big Horn Boulevard. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Upon contact with Elk Grove Police officers, Burr allegedly displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. Burr is held on $50,000 bail and will be arraigned on Thursday, April 9.
