Police release photo of Elk Grove bank robbery suspect, seek assistance




The Elk Grove Police have released the image of a man suspect of robbing an Elk Grove Bank.

Just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16 the man. who did not display a firearm, passed a note to a teller at the Wells Fargo branch at 5120 Laguna Blvd. demanding cash. After the teller complied, the suspect left and was last seen walking through the parking lot. 
 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately late 20s to early 30s with a heavy build, short black hair and wearing a blue facemask, a black hooded sweater, and gray sweatpants. 

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
