Suspect arrested in Elk Grove homicide

Elk Grove Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a homicide that occurred in a hotel parking lot on Tuesday, June 29.
At approximately 10 p.m. yesterday, police took Adan C. Amador, 22, of Sacramento, into custody for the shooting death of the 37-year-old male victim. Amador allegedly shot the victim in the chest at the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express hotel on West Stockton Boulevard and Highway 99 in Elk Grove.
Amador is in custody and the main jail and is not eligible for bail. Arraignment is tomorrow at 3 p.m.
