In sign of the times, Galt cancels planning meeting

While much has been written about the foreclosure crisis, there is another insidious side to consider. With a glut of houses flooding the resale market, construction of all types typically falls in lockstep.

This fact was made evident when Galt, Calif. canceled it's most recent planning commission meeting scheduled for Thursday night. The agenda said the meeting was "adjourned due to the lack of business to conduct."
