Three teens arrested for robbery

Three teenage boys ages 14, 14 and 16 were arrested on suspicion of robbery Friday afternoon.

The three teenagers approached the victims on their bicycles from behind and forcefully attempted to steal an iPod, cell phone and wallet from the victim. The incident occurred near Meadowspring Dr and Big Horn Blvd.

Responding to the call, Elk Grove police officers located the suspects near Shasta Spring Dr. and Old Creek Dr. The suspects were reported to be in possession of the stolen goods.

All three were arrested and transferred to juvenile hall.
