Elk Grove News goes three for three on city council predictions

It's been a long day and historic day.

Looking at the Elk Grove city council election, we are happy to say that we correctly projected all three elections.

Cooper and Scherman both won their third terms bids. Time to prove you are worth your votes.

Steve Detrick handily beat an very unpopular incumbent in Mike Leary. Coming into office Detrick will face a very difficult economy and very high expectations.

It will be interesting to see how coalitions are formed on the new city council.
