Elk Grove Police Break Up Party, Arrest Two Suspects For Hand Gun Possession

Elk Grove Police were dispatched to break-up a party disturbance late Saturday night on the 10100 block of Frank Greg Way in Elk Grove and uncovered something more troubling.

After shutting down the party because of excessive noise, officers began clearing out the party participants and checked for loiterers. Officers stopped two vehicles and the occupant in one vehicles said there was a weapon in the car.

Officers searched the vehicle and located a loaded .38 caliber revolver and additional ammunition. 18-year old Aaronsom Ware of Sacramento and a 16-year old juvenile male also of Sacramento were arrested. Ware was transferred to the county jail and the juvenile was transferred to juvenile hall.

Two weeks ago there was shooting incident at the same location on Frank Greg Way. One person was wounded by a gunshot and police have not made any arrest for the two unknown suspects.
