The chairperson of the renown Elk Grove Strauss Festival was arrested late Sunday night for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident and driving under the influence.
According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to a hit and run collision on Bradshaw Road and Elk Grove Boulevard 11:10 PM last night. Officer located 62-year old Sheryl Bray and initiated an enforcement stop.
Upon contact Bray reportedly display signs of impairment. Bray was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and DUI. She was transferred to the county jail.
Bray is this year's chairperson for the Elk Grove Strauss Festival whose last show for the season was last night.

That's right- freedom of speech does not include freedom of slander and libel. Truth maybe a defense but malicious comments are actionable and everyone's IP address is something that can be subpoened. I hope these deep pockets go after these "losers".
The owner of this site should also be sued for allowing such comments. You should really require verification of id versus anonymous. There are people that have hidden agendas that are transparent on these and all other threads. Shame on you!
So, you think that if you threaten folks with "supboenaing their IP" address, they will curtail their thoughts? WRONG...this is basically a blog; a free speech site; enter at your own risk. There is no court in this land that would authorize a search warrant based on what I see here. Unless, of course, you indicate you're going to kill someone; then perhaps, just perhpas, with a very liberal judge, you might get that warrant. Nice try at intimidation. HOWEVER, that being said, I would hope that some of the one line shots, by those who obviously have a grudge, would be eliminated from discussion. they add nothing to the topic at hand, and most of us should just ignore them. But true discussion, based on your thougths, feelings and ideas, can shine a new perspective on a old topic. Just try to keep it civil..
