Elk Grove Police arrested three teenagers yesterday for their involvement in two separate robbery incidents.

In the first incident, detectives arrested a 17-year old Sacramento male for his alleged involvement in a residential robbery that took place on October 26, 2009.

In the second incident, detectives arrested two 14-year old Elk Grove males suspects for a robbery that took place on November 2. Both were transferred to juvenile hall.

Police make arrests for domestic violence, shoplifting and Old Town Elk Grove drug activity

Officers made an arrest yesterday following another a domestic violence incident.

In this case, 26-year old Steve Smith of Sacramento was involved in a verbal argument that escalated in a physical confrontation. The suspect allegedly grabbed the victim, who was inside a car, by the throat and kicked the side door of the victim's car.

The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.

Police also arrested a shoplifter at the Target store on Laguna Boulevard. Responding officers discovered the suspect also had outstanding arrest warrants.

The 16-year old Sacramento male was arrested and transferred to the Sacramento Childrens Receiving Home.

Police also made another narcotics bust in Old Town Elk Grove yesterday when 40-year old Kenneth Welch Of Elk Grove was contacted by police on the 9600 block of Adams Street. Police found Welch to be in possession of narcotics.

The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
