Back in the Swing

As regular readers of this site may have noticed, EGN did not cover last week’s Elk Grove City Council meeting. The reason was that I was on a much needed and anticipated respite.

In my absence my trusted and venerable associate Thom was able to maintain daily postings. Not wanting to push my luck, I thought it would best not to ask Thom to cover the city council meetings.

Some of the happenings at last weeks meetings, such as the ethics investigation report regarding allegations against Vice Mayor Steve Detrick, have been covered by the Elk Grove Citizen. I expect the Citizen will have full coverage of the meeting on their website tonight and in print by tomorrow.
