Elk Grove Police Arrest Man after Vehicle, Foot Pursuit

A Sacramento man was arrested yesterday afternoon following a short vehicle pursuit.

According to police reports, officers attempted to stop a vehicle being driven by 28-year old Kenneth Donald for a code violation. Donald reportedly failed to stop and a short vehicle pursuit ensued.

Donald eventually stopped the vehicle and fled on foot as officers gave chase. The suspect was located hiding in a backyard near Los Banos Way and Terra Linda Drive.

When Donald was taken into custody he was found to be in possession of narcotics. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
