A 14-year old Elk Grove male juvenile was robbed of his cell phone early yesterday evening on the 9100 block of Paseo Grande Way.

According to police reports, the unaccompanied victim was walking on Paseo Grande Way when an old model white Toyota Corolla drove passed the victim the made a u-turn and stopped near the victim. Three suspects exited the car and approached the victim with one suspect demanding the victim’s cell phone.

Fearing for his safety, the victim complied with the demands. The three suspects then returned to the car and left the area.

The suspect who stole the phone is described as a black male approximately 18 to 19 years of age, 6’ tall, 170 lbs., wearing a black cap and red hooded sweatshirt with black, white and red Nike basketball shorts. There was no description of the other two suspects.

Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

In other activity, arrested 23-year old James Zamora on suspicion of DUI, took 25-year old Jesus Alvarado of Modesto into custom for an active warrant and picked up 26-year old Alvin Singh of Elk Grove for an active warrant.
