Elk Grove Police Thwart Early Morning Car Burglar

Elk Grove Police arrested a Sacramento man early Monday morning following an alleged car burglary.

According to police reports, officers responded to an in-progress car burglary on the 8400 block of Cold Water Court and found 21-year old Arturo Ibarra attempting to hide between two vehicles. A record search revealed Ibarra was on a searchable probation.

Officers discovered that Ibarra allegedly burglarized two vehicle. A search of the suspect's car led to the discovery of stolen property.

Ibarra was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
