Next week Elk Grove News will publish candidate statements from three of the five candidates running for the two open seats on the Elk Grove City Council.
On Monday, District 2 candidate Davies Ononiwu's statement will be posted followed by District 4 candidates Gary Davis on Tuesday and Jimmie Johnson on Wednesday.
All five candidates were invited to submit statements by Thursday September 30. District 2 candidates Pat Hume and George Murphey did not submit statements.
