Hume Hearing Happening Now

The hearing to determine whether or not Elk Grove City Council Member Pat Hume will be granted an extension of stay-away order against Elk Grove resident Connie Conley is currently being heard in Department 16 of the Sacramento Superior Court. Judge Thomas Cecil is presiding over the hearing.

At least one witness, Elk Grove Vice Mayor Steve Detrick, has been called to testify. When asked by Conley's attorney to describe Hume and Conley's interaction during a public forum, Dettrick described it as "cordial."
