Sacramento Kings basketball players to appear Saturday at Elk Grove Library

Two Sacramento Kings basketball players will make a special appearance from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, October 16, at Elk Grove Library, 8900 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove.

Kings team members Carl Landry and Francisco Garcia will each read a story aloud that the entire family will enjoy.

The Sacramento Kings are dedicated to making a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people in need and at risk in the Sacramento region. With reading and literacy as a central focus of giving, Maloof Sports & Entertainment has forged a strong working partnership with area school districts, after-school programs and other organizations that promote reading and literacy.
