We are very excited to announce that the Pleasant Grove High Band Boosters Fall Festival and Holiday Bazaar is back by popular demand! Forty-one wonderful vendors have come forward to fill the Pleasant Grove High Multi-Purpose Room with an amazing variety of merchandise, and we are looking forward to a truly spectacular event. Please join the community as it kicks off the holiday season in style on Saturday, November 13, 2010 between 10 AM and 4 PM in the Pleasant Grove High multipurpose room, located in Elk Grove at 9531 Bond Road between Waterman Road and Bradshaw Road . There is plenty of convenient parking adjacent to the multi-purpose room. The Bazaar is an inside venue and will take place rain or shine.

This free event offers the entire community an opportunity to shop in a festive atmosphere, featuring crafters, artists, and home-based retailers.

One-stop holiday shopping just doesn’t get any better than this.  Folks of all ages -from kids to teens to grandparents - will find beautiful and interesting items for themselves and for everyone on their holiday shopping list.  A list of participating vendors is posted on the band webpage and will be updated frequently.  Retail vendors include Salt City Candles, Thirty-One Gifts, Celebrating Home, Mary Kay, Arbonne, BeautiControl, Avon, Cabana Lights Candle Co., Scentsy, Cookie Lee, Silpada, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Princess House, and Jafra Spa. A wide range of crafters from all over the region will be offering everything from embellished shirts to custom jewelry and accessories, all natural candles and bath products to watercolors, exquisite hand sewn jackets and household items to hand-drawn cards and holiday décor.  All That Glitters Gold Recycling will be on site to appraise and purchase that old, broken or unwanted gold, platinum and silver jewelry. You can receive a chair massage by a certified massage therapist, sample organic coffee, find that perfect fashion accessory, or chow down on nachos, frozen slushies, or freshly made tamales.  The Boosters will be selling baked goodies, water, and cider and will be supervising fun activities for kids of all ages on the adjacent patio.

Past events have been highly complimented for the quality and variety of the merchandise - it's like having a fabulous boutique mall right in our own backyard.  It should be a fun, festive day for everyone participating.

This event benefits all the music and related programs of both Pleasant Grove High School and Katherine Albiani Middle School . The Pleasant Grove High Band Boosters was founded in August 2005 with the opening of the new combined campuses of Pleasant Grove High School and Katherine Albiani Middle School in East Elk Grove.  These schools serve the communities of East Elk Grove, Sheldon, Wilton , Sloughouse, Rancho Murieta, and Sunrise/Douglas. District-wide financial cutbacks in education have made community support necessary to continue providing materials and opportunities to our music students.  The Booster Club exists to provide moral and financial support to the instrumental and related programs of Pleasant Grove High School and Albiani Middle School; we are a major source of the fundraising revenues that provide for band equipment purchase and repair, music purchases, competition fees, cost for special instruction, and performance travel by band students. The Boosters are incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of California .
For driving directions and further information, including a list of participating vendors, please visit the band website at or contact Debra Vaca at (916) 686-4926.
