Man lured, robbed in Elk Grove park

Elk Grove Police arrested one adult and two juveniles after they lured and robbed a man in Elk Grove park yesterday morning.

According to police reports, the 18-year old male victim was lured into an area park yesterday morning by an unidentified female. When the victim arrived at the park, he was confronted by 18-year old Omar Carranza and two juvenile male accomplices who displayed a handgun and demanded the victims wallet and cell phone.

After robbing the victim, the three males suspects and the female accomplice fled the park in a silver-colored car.Responding officers located the suspected car near Bolo Court and Coop Drive and initiated an enforcement stop and detained the three suspects.

A search of the vehicle revealed the stolen property and a BB air soft gun. The three suspects, all from Sacramento, were arrested and the victim's property was returned. The female suspect remains at large.
