On June 5, 2010, at 11:18 p.m., officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express located in the 9100 block of W. Stockton Blvd. regarding a shooting inside the establishment. Responding officers located D'Andre Blackwell lying on the ground in a hallway on the third-floor of the hotel suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
