Mechanics Bank robbery suspect arrested by EGPD

Detectives from the Elk Grove Police Department have made an arrest in connection with an armed bank robbery that took place last week at the Mechanics Bank  on Laguna Boulevard. Bobby Evans was arrested at his Sacramento residence after detectives developed information that Evans was responsible for the bank robbery.

 

Bobby Evans was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail last night on robbery and parole violation charges.  Evans is scheduled to be arraigned on February 24, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. in Department 62.
