Like a biblical swarm of locust, former Elk Grove City Manager John Danielson and his swarm of marauding locust have moved back to Northern California after a swarm on Southern California.

According to the San Mateo County publication The Almanac, Danielson and his swarm of locust from PMC and InterWest were hired by the City of Atherton. According to the story:
The Atherton City Council on Feb. 16 voted 4-0, with Kathy McKeithen absent, to authorize agreements with the firms to conduct the "organizational effectiveness and efficiency" studies, which were recommended by interim City Manager John Danielson.

The review of police services, the Communications Center, and related services by the firm PMC will cost a maximum of $25,000, according to Mr. Danielson. Interwest Consulting will review the building and public works departments and related services at a cost capped at $48,000, Mr. Danielson said in a staff report.

All that we can say to Atherton about this is GOOD LUCK!

Atherton would be better off with a swarm of locusts, in my opinion. This bunch of carpetbaggers have no shame and are only interested in another line on their resume, based on my observations.
