Elk Grove Man With Outstanding Warrants Arrested After Domestic Violence Incident

An Elk Grove man with outstanding warrants was arrested early Tuesday morning following a domestic violence issue.

According to the Elk Grove Police, 40-year old Roberts Burroughs was involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation. The suspect reportedly punched the victim in face who then suffered a visible injury.

After leaving the residence, responding officers located Burroughs a few block away where he was detained. A records check found that the suspect has two outstanding arrest warrants. The victim taken into custody and transferred to the county jail.
