Elk Grove to Host Teen Town Hall Meeting

The City of Elk Grove Youth Commission is hosting their second annual Teen Town Hall Forum tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. as an outlet for teens to voice their concerns and opinions about current issues in the community. Topics may include alcohol, sex, bullying, drugs, education, suicide, depression, jobs, the economy, school reputations, family life, peer pressure, and much more.

This is the Youth Commission’s second year hosting this annual forum. With the information collected from the forum, the Youth Commission will decide their priority topics of the year and build a strategic plan to increase awareness and address those issues. Participation from all teens is encouraged and appreciated. The more input received, the better the City can address the concerns of its young population.
