For the second time in less than two weeks, an Elk Grove pizzeria was robbed.

According to police reports, an unknown suspect entered the Lamppost Pizza on Laguna Blvd. just before 9:00 p.m. and confronted an employee with a handgun and demanded money. After the employee complied, the suspect fled the restaurant on foot.

Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect as being a male of unknown race, 16-20 years of age, 5’7”, 150 lbs., wearing a red hooded jacket, black pants with a black bandana covering his face.

The other pizzeria robbery occurred on Christmas Eve.
