Second incident at store where employees placed in danger

Two suspected shoplifters threatened an Elk Grove grocery store employee with a taser Sunday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police, two unknown suspects entered the Bel Air store on Laguna Blvd. and left the store with two full baskets of groceries without paying. When the employee confronted the suspects in the parking lot, one of the suspects displayed a Taser and arched the probes.

The suspects then drove away in an older red Nissan or Honda. The driver was described as a white male, 20-23 years old, 6`0 tall, 150 to 160 lbs, with short brown hair or a shaved head and tattoos on his arms. The second suspect was described as a white male, 20-23 years old, 150 lbs, with short brown hair and an unshaved face.

Responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle. On February 27 an employee at the same store was assaulted by two unknown suspects who stole alcohol.
