Brewer, Lozano to Retain CCSD Seats

With over 60-percent of the precincts reporting, it is projected Cosumnes Community Services District incumbents Rich Lozano and Rod Brewer will retain their respective seats.There are three candidates for the two open seats on the CCSD's Board of Directors.

Lozano currently has 5,930 votes, Brewer with 5,537 and challenger Orlando Fuentes has 3,031 votes.

At an election night get-together at Lola's Lounge in Old Town Elk Grove, Lozano said he was encouraged by the early results. Lozano said he looks forward to serving another four years and to renewing some of the services that were cut as a result of The Great Recession.

"This didn't happen without all the volunteers who helped," Lozano added. 

Rich Lozano will serve another four years as a Director

with the Cosumnes Community Services District.
