Elk Grove Police Arrests Man Suspected of Threatening Former Girlfriend

Elk Grove Police arrested a Sacramento man early Wednesday morning after he allegedly threatened his former girlfriend.

Officers were dispatched to the 8100 block of Civic Center Drive after 23-year old Jose Medina allegedly began kicking and knocking on the front door of his former girlfriend's apartment. While he was kicking the door in an effort to gain entry, Medina reportedly threatened the victim who was inside with bodily harm.

Medina was taken into custody after responding officers saw him driving away from the apartment complex. Medina was arrested and charged with burglary, vandalism, and making threats to cause bodily injury.

After being booked into the county jail, Medina was released yesterday on bail.
