Three Elk Grove Unified School District Incumbents Retain Seats

In the race for three seats on the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Trustees, all three incumbents on the ballot retained their seats by comfortable margins.

In the Area 3 race, incumbent Chet Madison earned 34,230 votes or 67-percent of the vote to challenger Chris Baker who received 16,905 votes.

For the Area 6 position, Nancy Chaires Espinoza beat challenger Marlon Hill. Chaires Espinoza, who was appointed to her seat in 2015 and won a four year term, gathered 32,184 votes while Hill received 17,996.

Carmine Forcina, who won a second four year term to the Area 7 seat prevailed over challenger Nikita Kostyuk winning 33,765 to his opponents 15,968 votes.
